Identification Guide
Identify Your Cabinets & Drawers
1) Cabinet Construction
Face Frame (FF)
There’s a picture-frame around the opening. Existing hinges mount to the frame.
Face Frame
Tip: Frame pieces (stiles/rails) are often 1½–2″ wide.
Frameless / Euro (FR)
No frame. The cabinet side is the front edge.
Frameless
Tip: Panel thickness is usually ¾″ (18 mm).
2) Door Style & Overlay (Calculator)
We only support: Face Frame → Half Overlay and Frameless → Euro. The math below helps you sanity-check measurements and reveals.
Half Overlay target ≈ 0.50″ per side.
Enter values to calculate overlay per side.
3) Drawer System & Fit
Quick rules
- Side-Mount: Choose the longest even-inch slide that doesn’t exceed inside depth (we stock 18″ & 20″ here).
- Undermount: Commonly 18″ or 21″; verify box thickness and bottom notch spec.
- Clearance: Per-side clearance = (Opening width − Box width) ÷ 2.
