Slide Sizing Guide — Common Lengths & Increments

Undermount Blum 563H (TANDEM plus BLUMOTION)

Blum 563H undermount slides are designed around standardized drawer lengths—exactly why they feel so refined. They’re most commonly sold in 3-inch steps for clean, repeatable fitment.

Most common lengths: 9″ • 12″ • 15″ • 18″ • 21″
Best practice: match your drawer depth to the closest standard length that fits without forcing it.
Between sizes? for premium performance and reliable soft-close, sizing down is usually the pro move.

Side-Mount Würth Super Rail (Ball-Bearing Soft-Close)

Würth Super Rail side-mount slides are the go-to for smooth retrofit installs. They’re typically offered in 2-inch increments, so you can replace what you have and upgrade the feel at the same time.

Most common lengths: 12″ • 14″ • 16″ • 18″ • 20″ • 22″ • 24″
Fit note: side-mount installs depend on consistent side clearance—clean fit prevents binding and keeps the close buttery.
Between sizes? choose the next smaller length to keep install crisp and trouble-free.

Quick rule that stays true: Measure drawer depth, then choose the closest standard slide length that fits without forcing it. When you’re in between, round down for a fit that installs clean and performs like it belongs there.

Tip: If you’re replacing existing slides, match the current length first, then confirm cabinet depth before upsizing.

Hinge Kits (Doors)

Face Frame Half Overlay

Designed to retrofit face-frame cabinets to modern soft-close concealed hinges. Each kit services one door (2 hinges + plates).

Includes: 2 × BLUMOTION 110° clip-top hinges (B175L66), 2 × FF plates (choose 0/3/6 mm), wood screws.
Door requirements: 35 mm cup, ~12–13 mm depth; door thickness 5/8″–3/4″ typical.
Pick your plate: start with 0 mm; use 3 mm or 6 mm to fine-tune overlay/reveal.

Frameless / Euro Standard Overlay

Euro plates mount to the cabinet side. Use plate height to set reveal; hinge cams finish the adjustment.

Includes: 2 × BLUMOTION 110° clip-top hinges (B175L66), 2 × Euro plates (0/3/6 mm), screws.
Case/door: 18 mm (¾″) panels typical; same 35 mm cup requirements as above.

Drawer Slides — Side-Mount (Retrofit)

Simple, durable retrofit that avoids drawer-box notching. Choose the longest even-inch slide that fits your inside depth.

Spec: Super Rail series (soft-close), full extension.
Lengths stocked: 18″ and 20″.
Face Frame: add RMB-FF-SM rear brackets if needed.

Drawer Slides — Undermount (Premium, FR)

Premium soft-close feel. Requires a drawer box with rear notch + hole and compatible side thickness (often 5/8″).

Lengths stocked: 18″ and 21″ (choose ≤ inside cabinet depth).
Locking devices: required (sold/added per pair).
